  I have been dealing with Schell for 46 years and much more since we moved to Stouffville ten years ago. Staff always pleasant. Well informed. Generally fair prices. Frequent humour in the workplace. And handy - - only eight 4-way stops from our place to theirs.

  Staff are very friendly. They make you feel welcome, which is lacking in many of the big stores. They want to help you select the right products. If you have any questions, they are happy to answer them or send you to someone in the store who knows better. Definitely worth the trip.

  Absolutely the best home improvement store I've been to. The staff at Schell are amazing. I go there for my every need. They never let me down.

  Really happy with this company. I needed some 2 x 6 12 foot lengths of tongue and groove pressure-treated lumber, to finish off a fence I was building,, which was not readily available, And I was losing hope after having called at least eight or nine stores. The owner of Schell lumber took my call and specially ordered the lumber, for a better price then I had gotten it at Tamarack building supply (Tamarack has since discontinued carrying the product). Wish I had found them before I started my project as opposed to at the end of it!
